Hurricane Ian made landfall near Cayo Costa, Florida, at about 2:10 p.m. Wednesday as an “extremely dangerous” category 4 storm, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Ian spent Wednesday battering the Florida peninsula with catastrophic storm surge, winds and flooding.
