Ian officially made landfall as a powerful Category 4 hurricane at 3:05 p.m EST.
Ian has weakened to a tropical storm Thursday morning, but is still producing heavy rain near the Orlando/Jacksonville areas. This will continue through the morning, but the heaviest rain will move offshore during the day.
The storm will eventually cross into the Atlantic and lift up towards Charleston, SC as a weaker system, but will still produce some surge, rain, and gusty winds for those in the Carolinas.
