This is my 3rd Galaxy Watch. I quite like the watch. It now has a compass and the health functions are enhanced.

The description of the watch stated it included a gray wrist band, however it is white. Not cool for a man.

Watch– fantastic. Wrist Band – frustrating.

This brand-new Galaxy Watch 5 can be found in 40 mm or 44 mm variations, and in many methods it is VERY comparable to the Watch 4. This year Samsung is NOT launching a “Classic” variation of the Galaxy Watch, rather they have a routine Watch 5 and a Watch 5 Pro. NEITHER variation has a turning bezel like the Watch 4 Classic had, which is a substantial frustration to me. I actually liked the turning bezel, and not even having any designs with that alternative this year is discouraging.

— UPGRADES from Watch 4 to Watch 5:
– Bigger battery: Watch 5 has 410 mAh battery, Watch 4 had 361 mAh battery
– Gorilla Glass Sapphire/ Shape of Back: This glass must be a little more scratch resistant, and the bottom of the watch sits a little flatter versus your skin.
– Software additions: Improved sleep tracking functions, upgraded variation of OS (WearOS 3.5 with OneUI 4.5)

That’s actually it. Whatever else about the hardware, from the display screen to the processor, RAM, speakers, whatever is essentially the like the Watch 4. It simply has somewhat more scratch resistant glass, a shape that sits flatter on your wrist, and a larger battery. None of these things are even extremely obvious, therefore in general this need to be the tiniest upgrade I’ve EVER seen in a wise watch. There are some a little advanced sleep-tracking functions in the software application, however still, this is hardly an upgrade at all over the routine Watch 4. I can’t suggest updating to this Watch 5 if you have the Watch 4, and if you have the Watch 4 Classic, then I would consider this Watch 5 a considerable DOWNGRADE, since you would definitely miss out on the turning bezel in the Watch 4 Classic.

So, if you do not own a wise watch at all, possibly you might think about getting this, however even then, you would most likely be much better off purchasing a Watch 4 since it will be cheaper. I truthfully can’t think about any circumstance in which I would suggest purchasing this, although there is actually absolutely nothing incorrect with it; it simply does not appear to be worth paying more for this if you have or can get a Watch 4. I will still evaluate it out and see if I observe anything else in time, however up until now this is really frustrating. Possibly the advanced sleep-tracking information will impress me in time? Stick to the Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic in my viewpoint.

Went from a 4 to a 5. View is terrific. Show, includes and so on are what I desired as I am a senior attempting to monitor my health. Enhancement over the 4. Once again battery life is a problem. Required to choose a time to charge EVERY day. Dream Samsung might have discovered a much better battery.

I updated to this considering that my Galaxy Active 2 chose to provide up the ghost a simple week and a half prior to the 5 launched (speak about timing). I actually like the sleep tracking and the extra biometrics (though I still can’t determine how to do high blood pressure); action counting likewise appears more precise. Truly bummed, however, that it includes a USB C (the 2 was a USB A) without any sophisticated caution and no plug (I’ve needed to purchase one … presently piggy support on the battery charger for another USB C gadget). Usually delighted.

Overall I actually like this watch. This is my very first Samsung watch so I can’t compare it to the previous design however I can inform you it is a big upgrade from the really little Fitbit I had. It would get 5 stars from me EXCEPT Samsung does not support the Nutracheck app which is really frustrating. Battery life is just great for about 24 hours however it does a lot. I’m unsure how this compares to comparable watches.

I utilize it for whatever talking texting sleep tracking etc. Simply do not like that I need to have my phone right with me to utilize it unless I get one that has its own membership.

My very first smartwatch and I enjoy it. I had difficulty having a look at Samsung’s site so I acquired through amazon rather. Faster shipment, lower priced guarantee item used. Pretty strong develop.

This is my extremely first smartwatch and I’m so pleased I opted for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. This is a
short-term evaluation, however up until now so excellent. I’ve used my watch to the fitness center two times and I enjoy the feedback I get when I’m exercising, and it’s extremely comfy. I like the reality that I can make a lot of modifications from the house screen, products I can include and eliminate, and signals I can set. My watch likewise enabled me to download Google Assistant, which was a breeze. Given that this is my very first smartwatch I do not have another smartwatch to compare the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 to, however the watch is amazing. Yes, I’m bringing amazing back.
