Buckingham Palace on Tuesday shared an ageless photo of Queen Elizabeth II on social networks to reveal completion of the royal grieving duration and signify a go back to main responsibilities for members of the royal household.
The black and white picture was taken by society professional photographer Dorothy Wilding throughout the queen’s very first main photographic sitting following her accession to the throne in February 1952.
Wilding took lots of photos of the queen, who passed away on Sept. 8 at the age of 96, throughout 2 sittings. They appeared “on postage stamps from 1953 up until 1971, along with offering the main picture which was sent out to every British embassy throughout the world,” according to the Royal Collection Trust
