Hurricane Ian Flood Update: Water Is Receding, No Power, Q&A….

Join us for a live hangout on our boat in Sanford, FL along the St. Johns River at Lake Monroe – where we are still experiencing record flood levels more than two weeks after Hurricane Ian dumped 15-20″ of rain in the area. The water is however slowly receding – down about 4″ from our live tour a week ago at the crest.

We’ll talk about life at dock without power, water or sewer – and the challenges of getting to dry land. We still have several weeks to go until things are back to ‘normal’. But we’re making the best of it!

We’ll have some footage showing off the slowly receding flood waters, and some drone footage taken right at the crest of the flood.

Check out our live archive from last week – Oct 8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgLGGo6-m2E) where we took our viewers for a tour of the flooding at the crest.
