Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is at the State Emergency Operations Center in Tallahassee to provide the latest on Hurricane Ian preparations. Ian made its first landfall Tuesday morning over western Cuba as a powerful Category 3 storm. It is expected to pass west of the Florida Keys Tuesday night and approach the west coast of Florida by Wednesday night.
