Gov. Ron DeSantis is proving an update on Florida’s preparations ahead of Tropical Storm Nicole as the storm approaches the state’s eastern coastline. Nicole is expected to become a hurricane before it makes landfall in Florida. A storm surge and tropical storm warning are in place in the Tampa Bay area.
